In July 2017, the University Hospital of Guadeloupe registered the name of Karubiotec™ at the National Institute of Intellectual Property. Karubiotec™ is a Biological Resource Center equipped with a technical platform, allowing it to carry out :

• The collect of biological samples for research purposes;

• The processing of these samples to constitute biological banks;

• The provision of biological resources for research projects;

• The  provision of know-how for analytical techniques in molecular biology;

• The provision of know-how for the implementation of research projects,

• The training of people, within the framework of quality management in accordance with NFS 96 900 et ISO 9001 standards
