Let's promote research in Guadeloupe
KARUBIOTEC™
K arubiotec™ is a single-site Biological Resource Centre (BRC) and the only human biobank in Guadeloupe. This infrastructure of the University Hospital of Guadeloupe, dedicated to research activities and services, is equipped with a molecular biology platform dedicated to health research activities.
Karubiotec™ manages all the processes involved in the collection, sampling/acquisition, receipt, preparation, storage and transfer of biological resources and their associated data.
These biological resources come mainly from peripheral blood samples (serum, plasma, cells, DNA, RNA), but also from fresh or paraffin-embedded collections, secretions and tissues, and relate to diseases common in the Caribbean.
These resources are stored in compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements (anonymity of stored samples).
